I just love how these colors look together, and those cute little turtles made London squeel with delight. This one is ready and waiting to be listed on May 6 for XOXO's Endless Summer launch.

Here Come the Turtles...

Finally I know, it has taken me forever... but the M2MGymbo Turtles are coming. I am so excited I just got an email from Amy, and I am being featured on Journal Modiste on May 7. So I need to get my booty in high gear and get some new listings out there. I plan on having this one ready to list on May 6th and hopefully a M2MG Cherry skirt ready for listing a little later that week. He's a sneeky...... (don't worry there will be turtles too :)

Did You Know Skeletons Wear Briefs?

I am in the process of redoing Luke's room, so while I was assmebling his new toybox this morning the contents of the old broken one ended up scattered around the house. You how it is when you are trying to clean up, they are rediscovering all those toys they forgot they had. Anyway, Luke has recently become very independent in that he does not want any help whatsoever getting dressed. He tells me he is going to his room to "get ready" and "you need to say out here Mama". While typing an email I hear this very scary moaning sound coming around the corner. When I turned around I barely had enough time to grab my camera off the desk and capture this one. (Looks like I forgot to open the flash though...whoops!).

Little Miss Ladybug

Just listed this Ladybug Set Custom Size 12m - 6 for XOXO's Red White & Cute summer launch. I love to make sets that can be worn for a holiday, but don't scream "Hey I'm a HOLIDAY SET!", so they can still be worn any other time too. I orginally started this as an OOAK ready to ship listing....but my London has a hard time parting with some sets and this one she especially wanted to keep for herself. What was I thinking anyway??!! So I have found just enough of the ladybugs for one more set, happy custom size!

Mod Birds (and Modeling)

Ahhh..the joys of "modeling"...I laugh to think that is the word to describe what we are trying to do here. London is not...how do I put this tactfully???? Well, she is NOT a model. For me taking the pictures myself is part of the process, creating something all my own, but make no mistakes about it there is very little actual modeling (or photography for that matter) going on here.




Our sessions usually consist of me running circles around her trying to get her to stand still long enough to get a picture of anything, but most of my photos are literally just a blur as she races by. I know one day she will be too old for this whole boutique thing and I will need to send my sets out to a real model, but for now we are making some fun memories.


She is also becoming quite the little designer and is very opinionated about her clothes. I had this set all planned out, and was stopped in my tracks by a tiny 3 year old terror holding up a bolt of Tina Givens birdie fabric and insisting..."No Mommy, THIS ONE, THIS ONE, I WANT THIS ONE!" She was not impressed with the gorgeous pile of Ms. Butler's new prints I was holding onto. So.... this set is has her mark on it for sure, she was not going to wear it if it did not include her birdie fabric. I actually think it adds just the right touch. Here's the ebay link...Mod Birds.
